election in the United States and the impact of that of course reverberates

impact of that of course reverberates far beyond uh just the US and I imagine

far beyond uh just the US and I imagine some people might be feeling uh

some people might be feeling uh heightened emotional fragility stemming

heightened emotional fragility stemming uh from the results of the election and

triggering a lot of people and that's very difficult for a lot of people half

very difficult for a lot of people half the people are happy about the election

the election half the people are happy and unhappy about situations in their

become extremely self-critical we fail at something small

damaging you you you took a situation that was hurtful and now you're making

less and less until you're barely thinking about them and if you are it's

momentos and thinking about them it's a natural tendency we have it just doesn't

natural tendency we have it just doesn't help when it comes to heartbreak because

help when it comes to heartbreak because it keeps the pain alive and again your

it keeps the pain alive and again your goal is minimize their presence in your

goal is minimize their presence in your thoughts in your mind not expand it so

is a you know there's a lot that we do in the mismanagement of our own

in the mismanagement of our own emotional health that takes a bad

emotional health that takes a bad situation and makes it worse and

situation and makes it worse and unfortunately the more stress we are

unfortunately the more stress we are

unfortunately the more stress we are under the more impacted we are by

under the more impacted we are by

under the more impacted we are by stressful and distressing events the

stressful and distressing events the more we do that so it becomes a vicious

more we do that so it becomes a vicious cycle in other words when things are

better we were able to be our better selves and keep things at Bay when

care less than they actually do and that prevents you from reaching out from

prevents you from reaching out from trying to connect with these people for

trying to connect with these people for being proactive because it's like well
